I would like to see AFN leadership join the discussion and share their position on the use of "choke holds" - the fact that strangulation is lethal and "choke holds" can be considered a deadly force. (For example- I have a brother-in-law in Corrections who wants to debate me all the time about why "choke holds" are a "safe" type of restraint for routine use because his bosses at the jail say he has been "properly trained.") It would be very cutting edge and good publicity for AFN to speak up on this matter.
