Distinguished Member (DM-AFN)-Are you Interested in earning these initials?

The purpose of the Distinguished Member designation is recognition of RN members in good standing who earns the title through service. Distinguished members are required to re-apply and be re-awarded the title every 2 years. Publicity with photograph will be posted on web site for 2 years per criteria. The board will meet each December to review submitted applications and their supporting documentation. Decisions will be sent to applicants in January. Application will be out in the fall. Start preparing. How to do that? Join a SIG and attend the meetings and do the work. Write and article for the newsletter. recruit members and mentor them.
