Good morning AFN Members!
You are being invited to participate in a research study to evaluate knowledge and confidence regarding the care of transgender patients following sexual assault (SA). Transgender individuals experience disproportionately higher rates of SA compared to cisgender individuals. It is reported that healthcare providers lack knowledge and confidence in providing this care. Information gained from this study will help in the development of future sexual assault educational offerings.
This study is fully online and will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. To participate, you may click on or enter this link: https://oakland.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9oDZNvbp7kZGX8a into any web-enabled, electronic device at a time and place that you choose. After you complete the survey your participation in the study is done. This study was reviewed by the Oakland University Institutional Review Board on 10/05/2022 under Cayuse # 2022-150.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
