Join us for the "LEAN IN NJ" Conference to launch National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
We’ll address the realities of domestic violence; what to expect as a victim, survivor, parent, professional, friend, and concerned citizen.
Our intention is to go beyond the media sound bites and statistics and lean into vital information for victims to better understand the legal process when they reach out for help, for organizations to make informed decisions when recommending technology solutions, for parents to know what casual conversations may be warning signs, for employers to know legal and safety concerns when employees are victims, what laws are working their way through the legislative process, and help attendees understand how they can get involved.
Be sure to catch the 12:45 PM – 1:15 PM session:
Strangulation: What Does That Really Mean?
Presented by the Essex County Justice Center
Network with our speakers and sponsors, as well as other attendees to get your questions answered and build a more collaborative community.

I have signed up as I looked at the agenda and it is wonderful. Casey Gwinn will be speaking as well. The best news of all it is free.
