Get a sneak preview of the remastered SAFE Virtual Practicum set for release in late 2021. The Virtual Practicum, originally created and used widely across the country since 2008, includes patient simulations, interactive exercises, interviews with sexual assault survivors, and conversations with expert practitioners. It incorporates advances in science, technology, and best practice recommendations to train members of the health care community on all aspects of the sexual assault medical forensic exam and preparing for court testimony.
This project is made possible through a grant from the US Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) and the collaborative partnership of End Violence Against Women International, World Two Systems, Zapdot, the Academy of Forensic Nursing, the International Association of Forensic Nurses, and OVW.
Geared toward law enforcement, advocacy, legal, forensic nurses, advanced practice providers,
