Join us for this novel session of hands-on scenarios in non-fatal strangulation (NFS) case examination, ALS use, and photo and narrative documentation.
Learn from experts in the field of forensic nursing and NFS. Upon completion of the session, each participant will receive a certificate validating their competencies in performing a strangulation examination using ALS, photo, and narrative documentation methodologies, including evidence collection. (NOTE: These can be used for staff personnel files to validate the skills and competency as part of their Nursing Scope of Practice – a recommended practice to safeguard your license!)
Participants will work as a team of six nurses/cases. This session is limited to 48 participants.
