Dr. Stacey Mitchell

Stacey Mitchell earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from University of Tennessee (2006), Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix (2011), and Master of Education from Texas A&M University (2021). Mitchell is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN) and a Distinguished Fellow of the Academy of Forensic Nursing (DF-AFN). Her research interests focus on simulation in forensic nursing education, quality improvement, and program development. She is also renowned for her work in violence and trauma.
