
Emmanuel Peña
DO, FAAP; American Board of Pediatrics Certified Child Abuse Pediatrician

Dr. Emmanuel Peña, raised in New York City, completed his undergraduate, graduate, and osteopathic studies in New York then moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he received his pediatric residency and child-abuse pediatrics fellowship training. Peña has been recognized throughout his career for his desire to learn from all and seeking opportunities to teach others. He has practiced as a Neonatal/Pediatric Hospitalist and Child Abuse Pediatrician in multiple states, and these experiences have become the backbone for his interest in neglect, medical child abuse, and the impact of technology in child development and parenting styles.
Peña is currently one of three Child Abuse Pediatricians at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and is the Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship Director for Emory University School of Medicine.
